My Autobiography

I was born in Cauayan City, Isabela, into a family that truly understands the meaning of hard work and resilience. We grew up poor, and my parents sacrificed everything to provide for us. As a child, I was naturally happy, energetic, and full of talent. Our first home was in District 2, but we eventually moved to Barangay Union where my parents were able to build our own house, and that is where I spent the majority of my time growing up.

Life, however, was incredibly difficult. We faced harsh judgment and degradation from my father's side of the family, who made fun of us simply for how we looked and for being new to them. At home, things were just as volatile. My parents fought constantly over money and my father's habits, particularly his struggle with alcoholism. My siblings and I were deeply traumatized by his destructive outbursts. Thankfully, things began to change for the better when our youngest sibling was born, bringing a much-needed shift and a sense of peace to our family.

Just as things were stabilizing at home, the pandemic hit. The isolation, combined with a major and painful breakup, took a heavy toll on my mental health. I fell into a deep depression, lost my drive completely, and stopped focusing on my studies. For a time, I was barely taking notice of my subjects.

But I refused to let that be the end of my story. When Senior High School started, I promised myself I would bounce back, and I did. I regained my focus, worked tirelessly, and became a consistent with-honors student with high grades. My academic journey has been full of ups and downs, but it has taught me to be highly adaptable and attentive to details.

Throughout all of this, I found an escape and a passion in computers and software systems, which naturally led me to pursue a degree in Information Technology. I firmly believe that learning backend infrastructure like cPanel and DNS configuration is just the first major step toward achieving my dream career as a network specialist.

Currently, I am focusing on honing my foundational web development strategies. It is absolutely crucial for me to master these structural tasks because they build the logical framework necessary for complex software development. I look forward to expanding my skill boundaries further as this semester progresses.

Through all the challenges, my ultimate motivation remains the same. I want to make my parents incredibly proud, and I want to repay them for all the sacrifices, the hard work, and the tears they shed to get me to where I am today.
